I was honoured to be asked to present at the American Psychosocial Oncology Society’s (APOS) annual conference. I talked about my own experience as a cancer survivor and effective engagement of people with cancer and cancer survivors in research including Cancer Survivor Social Media, a Twitter-based scheme which I co-founded in 2019. APOS also hosted a “Twitter takeover” of our account to share insights related to cancer survivorship from the conference.
